According to Fabrizio Romano, Postecoglou remains a big fan of the Malian midfielder who was frozen out of the team last year under Italian head coach Antonio Conte.
Postecoglou on Bissouma: “I grabbed him and said: the way you've trained in the first 3 or 4 sessions, you can be a leader in this group”. ⚪️ #THFC

Bissouma has been criticized for his lack of discipline off the pitch since joining from Brighton and Hove Albion last summer and Postecoglou has already had to pull the 27-year-old up for his behavior, saying, “Then he was late the next morning and I said being a leader means being on time, and he’s been good since then.”
