Chelsea head coach Mauricio Pochettino has denied Trevor Chalobah has been excluded from the first-team squad this afternoon.
Speaking to the world media before the Blues’ match at Bournemouth on Sunday, Pochettino denied rumors Chalobah had been frozen out of the set-up saying, “Of course he’s part of my plans, yes.”
Trevor Chalobah set for Chelsea exit
As reported earlier this week, it is expected that Chelsea will move on in the January transfer window with Bayern Munich and Nottingham Forest notable suitors of the 24-year-old.
Pochettino today however stated he had not been told to remove Chalobah from the squad to protect his winter transfer saying, “I am Chelsea, I am the coach and his future is going to be involved in my plan. No one is going to decide for me.”
