Kylian Mbappe set for Real Madrid switch?
The 24-year-old World Cup winner has reportedly rejected a loyalty bonus worth an extraordinary $63.5m from Paris Saint-Germain in order to push through a move to Real Madrid next summer.
Mbappe’s deal at the French champions currently runs out next June meaning he will be able to join Real on a free transfer on 1 July 2024.
It is widely thought that Mbappe is waiting to hear from Los Blancos after rejecting multiple approaches from the Ligue 1 champions to extend his six-year spell in Paris.
Without a recognized world-class number nine following the sale of Karim Benzema, Real have struggled for goals at times this season and looked a shadow of their former selves in their 3-1 defeat at the hands of bitter city rivals Atletico Madrid yesterday.
