USMNT right-back Reggie Cannon has signed a four-year contract at English Championship club Queens Park Rangers after spending the last three months without a club.
The Texas-born 25-year-old becomes the R’s seventh signing of the summer in what has been a disappointing start to the season- with the club currently sitting sixth-bottom.

Reggie Cannon signs for QPR
As reported back in June, Cannon left Portuguese side Boavista as a free agent after terminating his contract for outstanding salary payments.
Cannon has long been looking for a new club and has accepted the proposal offered by the West London club.
Speaking of his new signing, who arrives on a free transfer, Rangers manager Gareth Ainsworth said, “We have fought off clubs to get Reggie and I believe he will become a big asset for us.”
To date, Cannon has made 28 appearances for the USMNT and follows in the footsteps of fellow Americans such as Juergen Sommer and Geoff Cameron in wearing the blue and white hoops.
