Napoli center-forward Victor Osimhen has been called up to the squad ahead of tonight’s Serie A match against Udinese despite threatening to sue the club.

It was revealed last night that Osimhen was preparing to take his own club to court after Napoli’s official TikTok profile posted a video appearing to mock the striker.

The news comes just 24 hours after it was revealed Osimhen had apologized to his teammates and head coach Rudi Garcia after reacting angrily to being substituted following his second-half missed penalty which he sent wide of the right-hand post after goalkeeper Lukasz Skorupski had been sent the wrong way.

Garcia has been given four matches to save his Napoli career– which starts tonight at home to Udinese- after gaining just two wins in the club’s first five league matches this season.

The French coach does not have the time nor the backing of the board to leave his star players out at this stage and the Nigerian hitman is set to ignore his off-field troubles and get back to scoring ways in front of his home crowd.
