Everton Player Transfers Raising Eyebrows

The chequebook does of course have to come out when it comes to buying in new players when the transfer window opens, and Everton has always had a very proud history of opening their chequebook when it comes to reorganising their team and that is was they have recently chosen to do.

Big money transfers always do make the headlines, and as such let me enlighten you on those big money transfer deals that did cost Everton a small fortune recently, but also let you know just which other players they transferred in and out along with players that went out on loan too.

It was Cenk Tosun that did of course cost Everton a huge fortune when they decided that they need to transfer him into their team and it was Besiktas that they had to send off a payment of £27m to secure him!

Theo Walcott was a player that many supporters of Everton where happy to see and that deal cost some £20m, so he has a big task ahead of him to prove he was worth that amount of money, but he is of course a top-level player and he should take the move in his stride.

Eliaquim Mangala is a player who may or may not excel in the coming season however it was on a loan they managed to secure him and the team that they have him on loan from is of course the in-form Manchester City.

There was of course plenty of players that did make the move out of Everton at the last transfer window and one that you will be interested to learn of was the transfer of Ross Barkley who made the move over to Chelsea for a large £15m plus add-ons!

It was also decided that is was the best course of action to transfer out of the team Liam Walsh and the team that showed the most interest in him was Bristol City and they secure him for an undisclosed sum.

Another player that was transferred out of the squad was Aaron Lennon -and he too was let go for an undisclosed amount of cash and they team that is he now a member of is Burnley.

Several players were also sent out on loan and that is of course all part and parcel of life in any team these days, a few of them that were put out on loan included Kevin Mirallas who makes the long trip to Olympiakos, along with Harry Charsley who is not out on loan to Bolton.

Also put out on loan were Sandro Ramirez who is now settled at Sevilla and Ademola Lookman who is earning his keep over at RB Leipzig, another player that has been loaded out is Mo Besic who I think is a very welcome addition to the Middlesbrough team.

Gethin Jones moved to Fleetwood for free, and Boris Mathis is now on loan to Northampton and on final player that is out on loan is Louis Gray who may prove a very valuable addition to the Carlisle team.
