Saturday’s gameweek 31 fixtures were limited to just three games with the FA Cup quarter-finals taking place. Despite the dilution of the fixture schedule, it was still an afternoon filled with goals and drama. Here is what happened in those top-flight clashes:

Captain Morgan wins it for ten-man Foxes at Turf Moor

Ten-man Leicester City recorded a last-gasp 2-1 win at relegation-threatened Burnley to leave the Clarets in a perilous position in the table.

Leicester were reduced to ten men after just four minutes, as centre-back Harry Maguire received a straight red card for a foul on Johan Berg Gudmundsson, with the referee judging that the England star was, in fact, the last man. Despite the man disadvantage, the Foxes took the lead on 33 minutes. James Tarkowski fouled James Maddison and the former Norwich star punished the fouled by curling home resulting free-kick.

Burnley goalkeeper Tom Heaton denied Jamie Vardy before the home side equalised on 38 minutes. Full-back Charlie Taylor found space down the left and found Paddy McNeil on the edge of the Leicester area and the winger fired past Kasper Schmeichel with an accomplished finish.

The home side should have taken the lead through Ashley Barnes, but the forward fired over the bar from a McNeil cross. The home side were unfortunate not to get a penalty kick, as Wilfried Ndidi tripped Taylor in Leicester box. However, referee Michael Oliver was having none of the home sides appeals.

Leicester claimed all three points on 90 minutes. Substitute Wes Morgan rose the highest to head home Youri Tielemans corner and seal Brendan Rodgers first away win as Foxes boss.

The defeat leaves Burnley just two points above the relegation, while the teams below have games in hand. The bookmakers still believe the Clarets will survive the drop, though. Leicester remain 10th place.

Hernandez completes recovery for Hammers against the Terriers

Mexican striker Javier Hernandez was the hero as West Ham came from two goals to win 4-3 against bottom club Huddersfield at the London Stadium.

The home side took the lead on 15 minutes. Youngster Aaron Rowe fouled Manuel Lanzini in the penalty area and Mark Noble scored with the resulting spot-kick. It took the visitors just two minutes to equalise, as Juninho Bacuna headed home from an Aaron Mooy corner kick.

Karlan Grant gave the visitors the lead on the half mark scuffing home a finish into the bottom corner of the net from a Chris Lowe cross. The striker scored his second of the match on 65 minutes, beating Issa Diop on the edge of the area before finishing superbly past Lukasz Fabianski.

A 75th-minute header from Angelo Ogbonna gave the Hammers hope of a comeback. The home side equalised on 84 minutes, as substitute Javier Hernandez scored a diving header at the back post from Samir Nasri cross. The Mexican striker was not finished yet, though, as in the first minute of stoppage-time, he finished into the far corner from a Felipe Anderson pass.

The victory means that West Ham are ninth place in the Premier League table, just two points behind seventh-place Wolves, who have played a game fewer. Huddersfield meanwhile are 16 points adrift of safety and look to be preparing for life in the Championship next season.
