The German equivalent of the Premier League and La Liga, the Bundesliga, is not quite as old as the La Liga, though is still twice the age of the Premier League.

Currently the reigning champions are Bayern Munich and they also hold the accolade of being undisputed champions with 27 titles under their belts.

Naturally, it is governed by UEFA and unlike the UK Premier League, there are only 18 teams. The league follows the usual Round Robbin method, with each team playing each other twice, once at home, and once away.

It is common to see the Bundesliga on Sky Sports and ARD (Das Erste) and as such, no matter where you are in the world, we guarantee you’ll find SOMEWHERE that’s showing a match from the UEFA Cups.
