At the start of the season a goal like that would’ve like a million miles away, such in the ever-changing landscape of English football. Now, they just have to throw everything they’ve got against the wall to see what sticks.

Inconsistency continues to follow Aston Villa around like a bad smell right now, dating all the way back to the end of January. They beat Southampton but lost to West Ham, then beat Arsenal before drawing against Brighton and losing to Leicester. This past Saturday they did manage to beat Leeds, but can they keep that winning run going?

Villa are going to approach this game cautiously because Sheffield United really do have nothing left to lose. They know that they have to go for it if they want to have any chance of surviving this season, with many fans already writing them off as certainties for the drop. Because of that we do actually think the Blades are going to get on the scoresheet, but we don’t think they’ll quite be able to avoid defeat against Dean Smith’s men who really want that top six finish.
